Artistic Path

I am loyal to realism and figurative painting. The topics of my paintings are mostly associated with the human figure, so I paint both the outward – portraits, acts – but also the thoughts that we know as the truths of life in form of aphorisms and proverbs. This allows me to offer the world of the absurd and irrational – a fantastic realism. I paint characters and the phenomena related to them objectively; details are very important because they build the truth and differences at the same time, and "the devil is in the detail". Despite the realistic details I try to bring in the mysterious and supernatural in order to add some magic to my creations, adding effects through chiaroscuro and strong, saturated colour.
